The Apogee team (minus Daniel and Jen) are headed to D.C. / Alexandria this week as brand sponsors for the Type-A Parent conference. Christen and Greg are arriving Thursday to kick off three (well, 2.5, really) days of networking and meeting face-to-face with bloggers.
The conference, which was founded in 2007, is notorious among the blogger set and draws not only parent bloggers but a number of lifestyle bloggers and well-known brands. This will be the fourth Type-A conference Apogee has sponsored. Greg delivered the keynote on the final morning at Type-A West 2017 earlier this year in Denver, titled “Plan Your Next Evolution.”
The D.C. conference will kick off with a Brand to Blogger Meet-and-Greet on Thursday, so if you're attending come say hi! We'll be available for high-fives and to chat up our list of merchants in the ShareASale network.
We'll also be in the Expo Hall on Friday and Saturday, which is a great opportunity to have a bit more of a leisurely or in-depth chat with us about any of our affiliate programs. We have a few new ones that post a lot of potential for Q4. Get a jump start by perusing our list of merchants here and come armed with any questions you may have. We'll be ready!
There are a number of really intriguing sessions on the docket for Type-A, ranging from legal information to basic and advanced blogger strategies. The one session we're really excited about though is the Affiliate Marketing AMA (ask me anything) panel moderated by ShareASale‘s Abby Schaller.
Christen, Apogee's Influencer Manager, will be a panelist alongside FrugalCouponLiving.com Blogger Ashley Langston and Claudia Naím-Burt, Director, Brand and Communications for Framebridge.com.
This will be an excellent chance for bloggers to get their burning affiliate marketing questions answered by people who are on all sides of the industry. The panel will be at 3:45 on Friday afternoon in the Edison ballroom. Mark your calendar!
If you're attending Type-A Parent conference in D.C. this week, look for the big blue and white Apogee banner and come say hi!
