            Affiliate Summit West 2020 Recap

Apogee sent its team of managers to Affiliate Summit West 2020 from January 27 to January 29 in Las Vegas. All three managers are Affiliate Summit veterans and happy to be back at the industry's biggest event.

Liz Gazer, Christen Evans and Anne Parris

Affiliate managers Christen Evans, Anne Parris and Liz Gazer represented Apogee for a full schedule of meetings with affiliates — including bloggers and media partners — networks and tech solutions. During meetings, our team promoted Apogee’s roster of clients and also learned about new solutions we can implement to manage the agency's rapid growth. Three full days days of meetings ended with new contacts and stronger relationships with existing partners.

Christen Evans spoke from the main Expo Floor Stage with Maryellen Garasky, affiliate marketing manager of Jane.com. Their session was titled “Get That Bread: Leverage Influence with Affiliate Marketing” where they taught a lively audience how to capitalize upon existing traffic with affiliate marketing to generate consistent revenue, engage with brands and provide ROI-focused case studies for the C-suites that lead to profitable, long-term partnerships.

Anne Parris spoke on a panel with Debbie Bookstaber, Jana Seitzer and Jen Goode. Their topic was “12 Digital Tools for Bloggers” which was an intermediate-level session for content affiliates. The panel covered free and low-cost digital solutions bloggers can use to save time, money and leverage their online business as solopreneurs.

Liz Gazer brought international flavo(u)r to our team. Our favorite Canadian returned to Affiliate Summit after a break of five years. Her first Affiliate Summit was in 2005 at the Riviera and her most recent was Affiliate Summit East in 2012 when it was located at the NYC Midtown Hilton. It was great to see Liz back among her ASW family and hitting her stride again without missing a step.

A special part of this year's conference was the celebration of founders Missy Ward and Shawn Collins. After 20 years and 50 shows, the performance marketing industry showed its appreciation of these two legends. All of us at Apogee are eternally grateful to Shawn and Missy for everything we've learned and the friends we've made at Affiliate Summits over the last two decades.

Looking forward to the rest of 2020, members of Apogee attend or speak at Dad 2.0, Alt Summit, the Connect and Grown retreat, the International Food Blogger Conference, Everything Food, Awin + ShareASale Think Tank, Mediavine and Affiliate Summit East.
