June 1st is the New January 1st. Start Planning.

Worldwide, our January resolutions didn't go so well this year. It's time to rethink our goals and start fresh. I propose that June 1, 2020, is the new January 1, which is typically a time to reevaluate health and wellness.

I'm not a motivational speaker, I'm a marketer who owns an affiliate management company. My team's job is to teach affiliates on how to make money online promoting products from our clients. I can't predict how the world is going to change or how this industry will evolve over the next few years. But I can tell you what we've seen recently and what we think is coming soon.

All of our clients maintained market share or grew exponentially since the pandemic hit the U.S. Our food, drink, home decor, crafts and parts clients have all grown. Some of them have exceeded Q4 statistics. Affiliates pushed April numbers beyond December gross sales. Isn't that incredible?

In this era of isolation and quarantine, people have found carbs and comfort food again as they've tried to keep themselves busy at home. It's time for a mental and physical reset. That whole “new year, new you” thing is about to start again.

For our Apogee Insiders, I'm proposing some specific products to promote and some ideas for unique content. You have the month of May to prepare and create. Go back to your January “get fit” content and repurpose it. Help motivate your audiences to get active and think healthy again.

            Apogee Clients for Your Reset

Key Eats started the year strong and will absolutely surge in the coming months as customers focus on eating healthy again. We are creating a package deal that will include the breath sensor for ketosis, premium app access and new keto-friendly food items.

Previnex is a supplements company and their upcoming campaigns will include bundles focusing on plant-based meal replacements. You'll see lots of Previnex Blender Bottles in the hands of our partners.

Nebula Genomics is coming off the best surge of sales in its history. They are the future of private and secure DNA testing. Talk to your audience about understanding their health based on their unique genome. Help them take control of their genetic data and learn from research and insights from the Nebula team.

Vanna Belt influencers have been extremely strong for the last two Januarys in a row. Vanna's skincare and weight loss products will spike this summer as women focus on a new fitness journey.

For urban dwellers in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Orange County, who might want a change of scenery inside their homes and apartments, Feather is redefining furniture rental for city living.

Look at your editorial calendar and rewrite it based on the trends coming in the next few months. Hitting reset mentally and physically is a growth opportunity. Keep telling everyone that June 1st is the new January 1st.
