Apogee Live: ShareASale Awin Think Tank 2018 Recap

Last week, Christen Evans and I attended the ShareASale/Awin ThinkTank in Chicago. It was the first co-branded conference for both networks and we loved it.

Our greatest takeaway was the higher quality level of meetings this year with potential partners. ShareASale and Awin have started working with major media publications and those publications sent representatives to meet with brands and agencies like us.

In our follow-up survey, I mentioned there is room for improvement on the education side next year. I would have loved to have learned more about the Awin interface and if there is anything new with ShareASale. However, we do keep up with the ShareASale team on the tech side.

During the new awards segment of ThinkTank, Apogee was honored to win the Best Use of Technology award. We were recognized for our use of Conversion Lines, trigger emails, API and our external work with affiliates through Zoom, Slack and Facebook. We give all credit to our CTO, Daniel M. Clark. I always say he fixes what I break and builds what we need.
